The idea of online gambling leaves many would be customers nervous about the many risks involved with making internet purchases. Fortunately many online watchdog groups exist today to ensure public safety by certifying online casinos, and allowing customers to know that they are working with an honest online casino.

Leaving the list of honest online casinos, the certification of one online casino has been revoked today by a leading online gaming industry resource. An online gambling watchdog site is revoking the online casino’s certification after the site failed respond correctly to allegations of content theft and blog spamming, done by the casino’s top affiliates and consultants.

“These activities are negatively impacting thousands of affiliates and online marketers worldwide. There are a number of programming teams operating with the approval of …[the aforementioned casino] which are flooding search engines like Google and Yahoo with thousands of spurious search results. This angers searchers and makes finding legitimate destinations on the internet difficult. This has lead to robbed bandwidth and corrupted web logs with millions of commercial messages linked to… [the casino]. This abuse of the system tarnishes the image of the industry as a whole and can not be allowed to continue,” said a spokesperson for the industry watchdog site.

The site has been negotiating with the online casino for the past six weeks, but the online casino has failed to take any positive measures to solve the issue, and has admitted that they are not prepared to resolve the issue at this time.

The industry watchdog site has been asking for the online casino to publicly state that they will no longer continue such behavior, and that they will not tolerate this behavior from any of their affiliates.

The watchdog site’s managing partner, Lou Fabiano, has also stated that their certified sites must, “… work vigorously to protect the rights of all of their affiliates, even if that means policing affiliates who maliciously hurt others for profit… By condoning these actions we have no choice but to revoke… [the online casino’s] certification, effective immediately.”

Many watchdog sites exist today to help support honest online casinos. Thousands of honest online casinos exist that do not follow such practices, and are still some of the most popular online gaming sites today. Due to the specific dangers that are inherent in the World Wide Web, watchdog sites carefully and thoroughly inspect online casinos to ensure customers quality gaming and personal safety.
